We are getting close to the end of the Money Magnet Series!
So far this year, we have examined A to S and you can easily read the other articles starting with ABC here.
I’m curious, as you have read these articles and contemplated these attributes and personality traits and behaviours of “Money Magnets” – have you been able to take a step back and consider those whom you consider being “that person” ? And by “that person” I mean the person who seems to attract all the people and opportunity when they walk into a room almost effortlessly, and as a result – the money that follows it? Now when you sit back and observe not just what they do, but who they are being, can you see some or all of these traits?
Ready to dig back in?
T=Tenacious
Merriam-Webster online provides a simple definition of tenacious as “very determined to do something”.
Tenacity and making money go hand in hand!
Money magnets may seem to have it all flow to them effortlessly, however if you were to sit down and have a cup of coffee with them, they would have stories that would surprise you – of humble beginnings, the hopes, the dreams, the ups, the downs, the failures, the losses and frustrations that were simply part of the road to the success and ease they have today. They aren’t any different than anyone else, but what they DO differently, is they don’t give up when it gets hard. They keep going because they are determined.
Are you willing to be tenacious?
U= Unstoppable
Sometimes I sit back and think how many times in my life, both in the corporate world and now as an entrepreneur I heard the word “no”, or how many times something I tried didn’t work out the way I envisioned. If I had given up or thought that “well success is for others not for me” I certainly wouldn’t have the time, money and freedom I have today.
What kept me going was an unrelenting desire to manifest my dreams and nothing was going to stop me.
I’ve noticed that all successful entrepreneurs have that same passion and drive and nothing will stop them from achieving what they want. That’s not to say they bowl people over or are rude or inconsiderate, but rather that they don’t let setbacks, disappointment or fear stop them. If they don’t have the money to do what they need, they find it, if they don’t have the time, they make it. And they aren’t afraid or set off course by the word “no”.
V = Values
In our very first article, I spoke about alignment. Values are integral to alignment, and to staying on course. Staying on course is the key to attracting people, opportunities, and money.
Sometimes it can be challenging to know which opportunities to accept and which ones to pass up. And accepting the wrong opportunity can often send you backwards in making money. But by knowing your values and aligning all decisions in your business with you values, decisions become that much easier.
It doesn’t mean that decisions aren’t scary or don’t challenge you – but rather that when you use your values as a filter – the answers become very clear.
Money Magnets are clear on their values, and use them to guide their decisions.
In Summary
The cool thing about this journey through the A to Z’s of becoming a Money Magnet, is that all of these qualities, habits and attributes are available to you – you just need to make a decision to BE that person, and by doing so, you will have laid the foundation to really focus on the next steps – the WHAT, and the HOW of implementing and executing your business growth.
